Laboratory system
VL250
Develop and approve treatments on the actual wine at 250 mL/min.
The winemaker tastes, analyses and chooses the endpoint.
Vinalchemy winery technology
Vinalchemy is a patented, low-oxygen wine processing system that accelerates the natural ageing reactions of wine. Test your wine on the VL250. Taste, analyse and refine the result. Then transfer your approved recipe to the V6000 production system.
The winemaker chooses the endpoint. Vinalchemy controls repeatable results.
Patent-granted technologyPrecision engineering. Controlled processing. Consistent results.

A controlled path to scale
Develop the treatment around the winery’s own wine and approval process—not around a generic setting.
Run the actual wine through the VL250 at laboratory scale.
Review treated wine through the winery’s sensory and analytical process.
Adjust the treatment until the winemaker approves the desired profile.
Save the recipe and reconfirm it for controlled V6000 production.
The 600x series
The 600x series is a range of systems which currently include the VL250 laboratory system and the V6000 winery-production system. Wider platforms are available.
Laboratory system
Develop and approve treatments on the actual wine at 250 mL/min.
The winemaker tastes, analyses and chooses the endpoint.

Winery-production system
Run the approved programme at up to 6.00 L/min.
Up to approximately 9,000 litres per 24 hours, depending on the wine, programme and installed configuration.
Wider platform
360–1,800 L/h, approximately 40,000 litres per day at the upper stated rate.
Other systems are available up to 6,000 L/h, approximately 150,000 litres per day, with custom designs available.
The V6000 specification, wider 600x-series range and other/custom-system capacities describe different parts of the platform and are not interchangeable specifications.
Controlled at every stage
Vinalchemy combines controlled wine flow, precision gas delivery, continuous optical monitoring, saved recipes and connected status reporting in one winery-processing platform.
Up to 1000x faster, dependent upon settings.
Illustrative commercial opportunity
Evaluate ways to increase saleable output from suitable wine streams, reduce selected stockholding periods and convert inventory to cash sooner.
Still-wine illustrative model
Sparkling-wine illustrative model
Separate illustrative UK models. Each uses 56,700 bottles annually and 50% treated, with selling price unchanged. The still example uses saleable utilisation of 60% → 65%. In the sparkling example, the legal nine-month bottle minimum and three-month post-disgorgement hold remain unchanged. The examples are not additive.
Illustrative results; not forecasts or guarantees. Results vary by wine, approved programme, winery costs, operating conditions, system configuration and commercial terms.
Connected process control
Select the batch. Confirm the settings. Run and supervise.
Recipes, run planning, optical status, exact-cylinder gas records, samples, service guidance, alerts and process history stay together in one governed operator journey.

Testing and evidence
Tested & Certified. Data from experimental trials at Plumpton College demonstrated Vinalchemy’s ability to enhance wine quality by improving key parameters such as pH balance, acidity, colour density, phenolics and tannins. The tested conditions concluded that Vinalchemy accelerated ageing-related reactions.
In a separate double-blind triangle sensory test on Plumpton Sparkling Rosé base wine, the treated wine was significantly different at p < 0.05.
A wine-specific starting point
Start with the wine, the desired endpoint and the commercial realities of your winery. We will use them to shape a confidential assessment and an appropriate VL250 trial or demonstration.
